Assistant Storekeeper

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Organize and manage stock within the storage area.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare and fulfill orders for internal departments or customers.
  • Ensure the storage area is clean and organized.
  • Assist with stock rotation and ensure products are stored properly.
  • Handle and process stock returns and exchanges.
  • Provide support to the Storekeeper and other team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a storekeeping or inventory role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
