Airport Baggage Officer

Responsibilities:

• Handle and process passenger baggage for loading, unloading, and transfer.
• Ensure baggage is correctly labeled and routed to its destination.
• Operate baggage handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and report any damaged or lost baggage.
• Assist passengers with baggage-related inquiries and issues.
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols at the airport.
• Collaborate with other airport staff to ensure smooth baggage operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized baggage area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in baggage handling or a similar role is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy baggage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary airport clearance.
