Cook

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure the presentation and garnishing of dishes are of high quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing surfaces and properly storing ingredients.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering and receipt of supplies.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
  • Assist in developing new recipes and menu items.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service.
  • Handle and store food products properly to prevent spoilage.
  • Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
