Environmental Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and implement projects to address environmental concerns such as air pollution, waste management, water quality, and soil contamination.
• Conduct environmental assessments, risk analyses, and impact studies for projects and developments.
• Develop and maintain systems for managing waste, recycling, and hazardous materials in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure all projects and operations comply with environmental laws and standards.
• Provide technical guidance on pollution control, sustainable practices, and the development of eco-friendly technologies.
• Monitor environmental performance and ensure that projects meet sustainability targets.
• Investigate and respond to environmental incidents, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare reports, permits, and documentation required for environmental compliance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to project teams, management, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and industry standards (e.g., EPA, OSHA).
• Experience in environmental engineering projects, including impact assessments, pollution control, and remediation.
• Proficiency in data analysis and environmental modeling software.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
