Event Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of events, including selecting venues, managing budgets, and coordinating vendors.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event objectives and develop concepts that meet their goals.
  • Create event timelines and ensure that all event logistics are executed according to schedule.
  • Coordinate with caterers, decorators, entertainers, and other service providers to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Manage event registrations, invitations, and RSVPs.
  • Provide on-site support during events to handle any issues or last-minute changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards during events.
  • Track event expenses and manage the budget to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
