General Labourer

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials.
• Assist skilled workers such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians with their tasks.
• Operate basic tools and equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing debris and ensuring proper storage of materials.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of job sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a general labourer or in a similar role.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of construction and maintenance tasks is a plus.
