Healthcare Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care activities, including taking vital signs, administering medications under supervision, and assisting with medical procedures.
• Provide basic patient support and ensure patients’ comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient transportation.
• Perform clerical duties, such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and updating medical records.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and healthcare facilities.
• Follow all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a healthcare setting or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
