IT Support Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to staff via phone, email, or in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with the setup and installation of new computer systems and software.
  • Maintain and update system documentation.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on larger projects as needed.
  • Monitor and report system performance and security issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in IT support is a plus but not required.
