Optical Technician

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses according to prescriptions.
• Perform repairs and adjustments on eyewear as needed.
• Operate optical machinery and tools to cut, grind, and polish lenses.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain and calibrate optical equipment.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses.
• Provide guidance on proper eyewear care and usage.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or diploma in Opticianry or Optical Technology.
• Experience in an optical lab or related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to operate precision optical equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
