Software Tester

Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Software Tester to join our team. The Software Tester will be responsible for identifying software defects and ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Identify, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure proper fixes.
• Verify that software meets specifications and requirements.
• Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Maintain and update testing documentation and reports.
• Assist with the development and implementation of testing processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in testing.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
