Supermarket Cashier

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Supermarket Cashier to process customer purchases accurately and provide efficient service at the checkout. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling transactions, communicating with customers, and working in a busy supermarket environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan and process customer purchases accurately.
• Accept cash, card, and other approved payment methods.
• Provide customers with receipts and handle change accurately.
• Answer routine customer questions and provide assistance when required.
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
• Report pricing, payment, or transaction discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
