Accountant Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant Assistant to join our finance team. The Accountant Assistant will support various accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
  • Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare and submit tax forms and other regulatory documents.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding accounts and financial records.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team on various projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant Assistant or similar role.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills.
