IT Support Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, both remotely and on-site.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure system security and efficiency.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in various systems.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers and network devices.
  • Document and track IT support requests and resolutions.
  • Assist in the implementation of new technologies and IT projects.
  • Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and software.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Knowledge of network and system administration.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
