IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support to end-users for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripheral equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of computer systems and networks.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
  • Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Assist with IT projects and upgrades as needed.
  • Provide training and support to users on IT-related topics.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems.
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
