Restaurant Reservations Agent

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and respond to online reservation requests promptly and professionally.
  • Manage and maintain the reservation system, including updating and confirming bookings.
  • Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
  • Provide information about the restaurant, menu, and special events.
  • Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure guest preferences and special requests are accommodated.
  • Handle cancellations and modifications to reservations efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest information.
  • Assist with managing waitlists during peak times.
  • Resolve any guest issues or complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure the reservation area is clean and organized.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using reservation software and MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
