Security Guard

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence.
  • Perform access control duties, including verifying identification and credentials.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and clients in a professional manner.
  • Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards.
  • Ensure all security equipment and systems are functioning properly.
  • Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Assist with crowd control and event security when required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using security equipment and surveillance systems.
  • Excellent observational and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
