Data Entry Clerk

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update data into databases and spreadsheets.
  • Verify and correct data discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and files.
  • Perform regular data backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
  • Review data for errors and make necessary corrections.
  • Generate reports and provide data as requested by team members.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and data entry software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
