Logistics Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and managing all logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve any issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
  • Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Assist in managing warehouse operations, including organizing and storing inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.
  • Support in the development and implementation of logistics policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the logistics team, including data entry and report generation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a logistics assistant, logistics coordinator, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and logistics software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
