Supermarket Cashier

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and responsible Cashier to join our supermarket team. The successful candidate will manage customer transactions efficiently and provide outstanding service at the checkout counter.

Responsibilities:

• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
• Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards.
• Assist customers with queries and product information.
• Maintain cleanliness at the checkout area.
• Count and balance the cash drawer at end of shifts.

Requirements:

• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
