Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Part-Time Cashier to process customer transactions accurately and provide excellent service at the checkout counter. The ideal candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process cash, card, and digital payment transactions
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges when required
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with product and pricing inquiries
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
