Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory operations by preparing equipment and materials, assisting with routine procedures, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will follow established laboratory protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare laboratory equipment, samples, and testing materials
- Assist laboratory staff with routine testing procedures
- Record and organize test results accurately
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas
- Monitor laboratory supplies and report shortages
- Follow laboratory safety, quality, and handling procedures
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Laboratory Science or a related field
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow safety and quality procedures
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred
