Storekeeper

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions.
  • Organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to replenish inventory as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process orders for dispatch, ensuring timely delivery to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure the store is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Provide reports on inventory status, stock levels, and other relevant metrics to management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a storekeeper, inventory manager, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
