Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond to online reservation requests promptly and professionally.
- Manage and maintain the reservation system, including updating and confirming bookings.
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
- Provide information about the restaurant, menu, and special events.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure guest preferences and special requests are accommodated.
- Handle cancellations and modifications to reservations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest information.
- Assist with managing waitlists during peak times.
- Resolve any guest issues or complaints promptly and courteously.
- Ensure the reservation area is clean and organized.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using reservation software and MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
