Retail Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Retail Cashier to process customer transactions accurately and provide excellent service at the checkout counter. The ideal candidate will be attentive, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process cash, card, and digital payment transactions
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges when required
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist customers with basic product and pricing inquiries
• Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred
