Supermarket Cashier

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Accurately scan and process customer purchases.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and provide correct change.
• Assist customers with inquiries and bagging their items.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Monitor and replenish checkout supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
