Airport Staff

Responsibilities:

  • Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including ticketing and baggage handling.
  • Provide information and directions to passengers regarding flight schedules, gates, and airport facilities.
  • Ensure the efficient flow of passengers through security checkpoints and boarding gates.
  • Assist with boarding and deplaning processes, ensuring passengers board and disembark safely and efficiently.
  • Handle passenger inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with airline staff, security personnel, and other airport employees to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report any safety or security concerns to the appropriate authorities.
  • Assist passengers with special needs, including wheelchair assistance and other accessibility services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, kiosks, and waiting areas.
  • Follow all airport policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and safety.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary airport security clearances.
