IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the implementation of new IT systems and solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT issues and solutions in a ticketing system.
  • Provide training and support to users on IT-related topics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with network administration and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
